Upon receiving the media, lab personnel conduct a visual inspection. This includes checking

Media are stored according to the required conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity) to

in a dry place.

The batch number, expiry date, and CoA are recorded in the lab’s inventory system to ensure
traceability and compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

Before use, Growth promotion testing on the media to verify its effectiveness and ensure that
it supports microbial growth as expected.

The media is used according to first-in, first-out (FIFO) practices to prevent expiration issues,
and usage is carefully tracked for audits and regulatory compliance.
