Vessel Body:
The stainless steel tank that securely holds the culture media and microbes.
Agitation System (Motor & Impeller):
The motor spins blades (impellers) to mix the liquid and distribute nutrients evenly.
Baffles:
Long metal plates on the walls that stop the liquid from swirling in a vortex, improving mixing.
Sparger (Aerator):
A ring at the bottom that pumps in tiny bubbles of sterile air to give microbes oxygen.
Jacket/Coils:
A water jacket around the tank that circulates cold or hot water to maintain the perfect temperature.
Sensor Probes:
Built-in dipsticks that continuously measure pH, temperature, and oxygen levels.Feed
Inlets:
Secure entry tubes at the top used to add nutrients, chemicals, or anti-foaming agents.
Sampling & Product Outlets:
Separate valves at the bottom used to pull out test samples or drain the finished product.
